CLASSES: The 2012 winter classes are in full swing and filling up fast. We are currently enrolling peole for our March classes. Please view the class schedule for information! Keep your eyes out for some new, never offered before courses: Geeky Cross Stitch, Create your own Cabled Aran Sweater and Choose your own Adventure in Knitting!
STITCH'n'BRUNCH: every Sunday we host a pot-luck style brunch and craft circle. Bring your project, your favorite breakfast nibble and join other local crafters. You don't have to be a knitter or crocheter, if you weave, spin, bead, felt, or embroider everyone is welcome! We don't discriminate. Sundays are also a great day to come in with those stitches that stump you, because I have officially dubbed Sundays a free help day where I can show you how to fix mistakes, get past a difficult part in a pattern or learn finishing techniques to start putting together those Christmas presents for your loved ones. Yes, I said it, Christmas! Ya'll have to start thinking ahead of what we are going to be making people for the holidays.
SCI-FIBER FRIDAY: The best place to work on your U.F.O.’s (Un-finished Objects). Join us every Friday at 7pm for a free craft circle and movie showing of a different Sci-Fi movie or TV show. Come and (space) craft with us. If you have any suggestions about what movie you would like us to show, we would love to here from you.
As most of you know we are the only shop in Chicago that offers store credit for your unwanted stash yarn. If you have yarn you don't want that is in good condition, it hasn't been used, and has the original tags, bring it in for store credit, even if you haven't purchased it here. That way you can get something you will use.
